Your kids will learn through play with this fun game! It's classic tic-tac-toe, yes, but your kids will have a lot more fun with this (and learn more, too)! Kids will learn to identify the beginning sounds and perhaps learn how different fruits and vegetables look.

Game ideas:

- see if your kids already know the names of these fruits and vegetables
- if they know the names (or you tell them), can they identify the beginning sounds?
- you can also see if they know the ending sounds or perhaps the vowel sounds
- take turns naming a fruit or vegetable as fast as possible!
- use the pre-illustrated tic-tac-toe boards to play tic-tac-toe; you can only put a market on a spot if you can say the beginning sound of that fruit/vegetable
- you can also use the ending sounds, or the vowel sounds
- the flashcards can be used as flashcards are, but can also be used to play something larger than tic-tac-toe; like connect four
- and much more, only limited by your imagination!
