Your kids will learn through play by learning about coding and thus, computer programming! The basic premise of coding is to be able to give instructions on a step-by-step basis, rather than giving general instructions. This sounds easier than it is, but this game will give your kids the understanding of how to do so; it creates a goals for your child(ren) to attain, but they must go one step at a time in order to reach that goal.

A lot of fun games are contained within this set of printables! There is an elephant, two food "goals" and several objects (trees) that can be used to block the path of the elephant (thus, requiring child(ren) to figure out how to get around the item via instructions (arrows).
The arrows are the path that the animal must follow, and these are like individual lines of code in a computer program.
Game ideas:
- simply put the elephant in one corner of the board, the goal food item at another end and have your child lay out the arrows to create a path (commands) for where the animal must go to get the food
- once that is mastered, your child is ready to face the trees - place trees around the board, in addition to the elephant and the goal, in order to make your child(ren) have to figure out how to get around the objects and to the goal
- a more advanced way to play is to place two food items (goals) on the board and have your child(ren) either plot the path to one or the other food items
- and much more, only limited by your imagination!

- 300 dpi
- 8.5" x 11" size paper, also suitable for A4 size
