Your kids will learn through play with these guessing cards! Modelled on the board game, "Am I a Banana?", this game encourages questioning, thinking, puzzle solving and verbal skills. Each player must choose a card (and not look at it), then place it in their headband and ask the other players yes/no questions about what is on their forehead, in order to try and figure out what they are. They'll have so much fun and won't even know they're learning!
*Must purchase headband for each player, in order to hold cards
immediate procurement of purchase via PDF
Three easy steps:
1. Print out the file
2. Laminate (optional, recommended)
3. Cut out
4. You're ready to teach your kids and they'll be ready to play!
Some of the yes/no questions that could be asked include; Am I a food? Do I taste sweet? Am I bigger than the fridge? Do I use electricity?
Game ideas:
- one player pulls a card and puts it on their forehead (don't look at your card!); others answer yes/no questions from the player
- each player pulls a card and puts it on their forehead; take turns asking questions and whomever solves theirs quickest wins
- if there are a lot of players, they can work in two teams, seeing whom can guess their item first
- for beginner learners, parents can come up with themes to make it easier for children; such as food, household items, etc.
- and much more, only limited by your imagination!
Files included:
- PDF, eight (8) pages
- 300 dpi
- 8.5" x 11" size paper, also suitable for A4 size
Printing:
- please be aware that colors may not be exactly as show due to differences in monitors and printers
- can be printed at home or at your local printing/office supply store
- print and re-print!
- personal use only, no commercial use or resale :)
