Game ideas:
- introduce the vegetables and their names to your kids, using flash cards - your children can pull out flash cards and name vegetables, or you can show them the various flash cards - ask your child(ren) questions pertaining to the vegetables; such as which vegetables do you know, or which ones grow in the ground? - child(ren) can match the vegetables to their respective silhouettes - bury the vegetables in "soil" of your choice (such as a bucket of beans or corn) and have your kids "dig" them up! - kids can "plant" vegetables that they know the name of, or get your help in naming them - you can write letters in erasable marker on the laminated vegetables and have your kids read the letters when they "dig up" the vegetables - and much more, only limited by your imagination!
